A social issue is a problem that influences many citizens within a society. It is a common problem in present-day society and one that many people strive to solve. It is often the consequence of factors extending beyond an individual’s control. Social issues are the source of a conflicting opinion on the grounds of what is perceived as morally correct or incorrect personal life or interpersonal social life decisions.
9/10 … The show in itself is really good, and they travel to all kinds of locations to investigate. Since it’s American produced we get the usual half whispering narrator and some shaky hand held camera to make it more exciting for the general public. But all in all really good.
This escape theory is certainly interesting and since I’m an open minded person, I don’t discard claims like this when there are enough evidence to back them up. But the official story might as well be correct one, we will probably never know with a 100% certainty.
A new era in the history of science began in 1609, when the Italian mathematician Galileo Galilei turned a new instrument – the binoculars – towards the starry sky. However, the worldview of the Catholic Church was threatened by the Italian’s groundbreaking astronomical discoveries, and in 1633 Galileo was brought before the Inquisition – the […]
It doesn’t come as that big of a surprise that it turns out that the least religious countries in the world is also the most peaceful. When rational thinking and scientific testing of different things rules a society, it turns out to be the least violent. Hah, and here we thought religions were all about […]
I came across this photo while researching another topic and fell in love with it at once. Her powerful “you can’t intimidate me” look, while being questioned by the police is nothing but amazing. Taken in 1957, we all know how black people in the US were treated so this has got to be a […]
Jonny Begood, a specimen of human feces I’m guessing is like the average Trump voter. Racist in the comfort of his own home and doesn’’t get the B.L.M movement at all, in fact they are threatened by it. This guy seriously puts pictures of Jesus & Trump on his page claiming ”Together they will bring […]
In an optimal world ”All lives matter”, but we’re not even close to that in the world today. Institutionalized racism for over 400 years is still a fact in the US. The ”Black lives matter” movement is not Anti-White, this is not about you. This is a fight for equality, no matter what skin color […]
Thomas Lawrence’s (1769 – 1830) grandest history painting attracted strong reactions. It is dominated by a muscular male figure, naked apart from his sword, helmet and some carefully placed drapery. He is Satan, the rebel angel, who has been sent to Hell. Standing by a lake of fire, he summons his followers. The subject is […]
Rob Bliss is a director and producer based in Los Angeles and is known for making viral stunts aimed at socially conscious messages. This time Bliss captured his interactions in Harrison, Arkansas on a GoPro camera that he strapped to his chest and peeked out a hole in his T-shirt. He edited his footage down […]
Underground Resistance (commonly abbreviated to UR) are a musical collective from Detroit, Michigan, United States. Producing primarily Detroit techno since 1990 with a grungy four-track musical aesthetic, they are also renowned for their militant political and anti-corporate ethos. First formed in 1989 by “Mad” Mike Banks, Jeff Mills, and Robert Hood. UR related the aesthetics of early Detroit Techno to the social, political, and economic circumstances which followed on from Reagan-era inner-city […]
Internet is a bottomless pit of morons that probably should have been aborted, and a never ending stream of idiots who believe in these fairytales. Especially religious people never seize to amaze me 😂😂😂 August 8th, 2020 Ok, I admit that there really is no sport finding idiots in a group called “Christians against dinosaurs”, […]
The Fallen Angels Entering Pandemonium, painted in 1841 is one of my favourite oil painting. I’m a sucker for old religious paintings with a dark touch. I came across this for the first time when it was cover art on the ”Angel Witch” LP from 1980, but it’s probably best known from John Milton’s book […]
Scandals of teachers doing bad stuff in the classroom are all too common and usually full of ick. But sometimes a teacher breaks the rules and it’s the right thing, such as with 24-year-old John Scopes, who decided Tennessee’s law against teaching evolution was simian stupidity. The law was named after an evangelical Christian. Let’s […]
The text down below is from Wikipedia, I’m just facinated by how the sociopath Stephanie Rasmussem responded during her interiogation. You just have to watch and listen to that clip. On February 24, 1986, the body of Sherri Rasmussen (born February 7, 1957) was found dead in the apartment she shared with her husband, John Ruetten, in Van […]
