John Saxon, my all-time favourite ”not leading role” actor passed away on July 25 in pneumonia in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at the age of 83. The news really struck me hard since he has been with me since I watched ”Nightmare on Elm Street” for the first time. He’s extremely charismatic and I don’t know why […]
7,5/10 … The UK version is on my top 5 best/funniest sitcoms ever list, so I never watched this, the american version when it was first aired. And it took a while to shake of the ”let’s Americanize an already perfect show”. But when I forgot about the original, this is awesome. Especially the first 5 seasons.
Here I collect every short review I made on TV Shows. To see another genre look at the index page. You find it here! When it comes to TV Shows. I enjoy mainly the ones who follows a storyline throughout a whole season. TV shows where they are going to solve a case in 45 minutes I usually find very boring. As you see, sometimes I rate each season and sometimes just the whole show.
I have no idea why Netflix makes it so hard to browse the different genres on their site. I started to look into it when it wanted to find movies from smaller countries in South America or the Middle-East but couldn’t in any easy way. Netflix will only recommend specific movies and genres if you’ve […]
6,5/10 … All in all, an above average series to watch will your doing something on your phone or cooking dinner. If it wasn’t for the con parts, I would have quit during season one.
8/10 … Wu-Tang Clan is my all-time favourite hip hop act and Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon and GZA are all on my top 10 list of favourite rappers…..
8,5/10 … Season 3 was just released and I couldn’t wait to watch it as soon as possible. I went out and bought some steakes and beers to be fully prepared. And it didn’t disappoint. Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, the money laundryguy for the Mexican cartell and his wife Wendy played by Laura Linney are still just a pleasure to see everytime they’re on screen. Jason Bateman plays his character really calm and relaxed. Nothing ever seems to make him …
8/10 … I liked the first season, the love interest Beck (Elizabeth Lail) is very charming and plays the slightly neurotic girlfriend just great. I enjoy the concept of the show but wished it would have been more decadent and Joe (Penn Badgley) even more depraved.
Season two is even better in my opinion, more or less all characters are very likeable and we get more twists and turns. The focus of his attention this time, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) and her brother Forty Quinn (James Scully) are simply awesome. …
9/10 … I usually love every TV show or movie I see that comes out of Denmark and this was no undantag. But I have to admit, I almost quit in one of the earlier episodes. since I’m not a fan of when they show the ”bad guy” early on, I prefer when that part is a mystery, so about halfway through I almost quit because of it. I choosed to hang in there and boy did it pay off. Really intense and some awesome twists and turns ..
10/10 … This one was simply amazing, just the kind of show I love. We have a mystery, or should I say several mysteries and until the end it keeps us guessing. I watched the whole thing in two sittings, more or less the entire time on the edge of my seat. Hard to tell you much more than this without revealing to much.
So on this page I collect Movies/TV Shows I didn’t finish … because you know, life’s too short! I have so many movies and TV shows I want to see so I don’t have time looking through an entire movie that starts out bad.
9/10 … This period in New York history has always been on top of my ”if I could time travel” list so I was very eager to dive into this. After 2-3 episodes I called it the best TV show ever, as the show went along I calmed down a bit but still really loved it. I could go so far as to say it’s the best show ever on HBO together with The Wire (Yes, I´m looking at you Game of Thrones). We get to follow the ups and downs of the characters, and it can be pretty emotional. When some of the customers treat the women bad I get so furious I just want to jump into the screen and punch people.
7/10 … A Secret Service agent goes to Wayward Pines, Idaho, in search of two federal agents who have gone missing in the bucolic town. He soon learns that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.
6/10 … I don’t get people playing heroes to protect a banks money. Why?
A fictional figure from one of my favourite TV shows “The Wire” (HBO 2002-2008). His approach to his work, his calm thoughtful ways of tackling problems. If we would all be more like him I’m pretty sure this planet would be a better place. I hope I’m one day gonna be like him. I highly […]
