Vader “Helleluyah (God Is Dead)” (Death Metal) [Music/Track]

Year: 2006
Genre: Death Metal
From: The album “Impressions In Blood

Humanity so Poisoned by Their Myths

Vader, a Death Metal band from Poland that was formed back in 1986. On this one, “Impressions In Blood” the bands seventh studio album, not counting the cover album “Future of the Past” from 1996 we find the track “Helleluyah (God Is Dead)”.

A music video was shot and it was directed by Andrzej Wyrozębski. Janusz Król was responsible for special effects and the set design for the video, while Sławomir Panasewicz was the cameraman. In Poland, the album “Impressions in Blood” landed at position No. 8. The album also charted in Japan.

The lyrics in itself is pretty straight forward and will not win any Nobel prizes in litterature any time soon, but the atmosphere of the video, the chorus and the bonecrushing music makes it really good. Not much more to say about it then … turn up the volume and enjoy!

“Helleluyah (God Is Dead)”

Passing the empty house
I see the thing upon the Wall
Wooden sticks crossed together
And kneeling man talking to the effigy of steel…

God is Dead!!! Dead !!! Helleluyah!!!

Smell of burnt bodies
Slaughtered virgin lies dead without the face
Men staring at the skies
Singing lines and eating sand of waste…

God is Dead!!! Dead !!! Helleluyah!!!

Wandering the globe around
I saw no miracles nor wonders
Humanity so poisoned by their myths
Why none can see my wings?!

God is Dead!!! Dead !!! Helleluyah!!!
