Clones of Bruce Lee (Martial Art) 1980 [Movie/Review] + Watch the Movie

7/10

Year: 1980
Genre: Martial Arts
Director: Joseph Velasco (as Joseph Kong)
Original Title: Shen wei san meng long
Source: YouTube

PLOT:
Bruce Lee has just died, but the BSI is swinging into action to salvage the situation. Aided by the brilliant professor Lucas, cells from the martial arts master are removed and grown into 3 adult Bruce Lee clones. After undergoing training to bring their skills up to the level of their ‘father’, the 3 are sent out to battle crime, with one sent to take on a gold smuggler, and the other 2 teaming up to shut down an evil mad scientist.

OPINION:
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ The people behind this movie should really have studied what a clone is? You have to look like Bruce Lee to be a clone, you can’t just take an Asian guy who knows Kung Fu. Or Kung Fu … choreographed dancing might be a better word for what’s going on at the screen. Seldom have I seen more “Let’s hit in the air, but let’s pretend it was in the head” fighting than in this one πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The acting from the cast of caucasian descent is beyond abysmal, just awful. Then we have the sound effects, they are usually extreme in these kind of movies, but holy f**k do they go over the top here. Sometimes it even sounds like they have metal things swooshing through the air.

Now it sounds like I hated the movie, but it’s the exact opposite. I loved it in all its ”shittyness” πŸ˜…

Not common for these kind of movies is that we get some nudity by dancing girls on a beach for an unmotivated long period of time πŸ˜‚ … but I don’t complain.

FORMAT:
I watched this on YouTube and considering the source it’s really, really good.
