Night of the Lepus (Horror/Animals) [Movie/Review]

Year: 1972
Genre: Horror/Animal Horror
Source: Blu-Ray (Scream Factory)

Giant mutant rabbits terrorize the south-west.

The blog Coilhouse wrote: Shot on location in Bumblefuck, Nowhere, Arizona, the best/worst scenes from Night of the Lepus show soft, cuddly domestic rabbits “rampaging” through miniature model sets with what appears to be ketchup liberally smeared on their muzzles and paws … and that I think sum up this one! I had so much hope for this one, I mean giant killer rabbits what’s not to like. But no, disappointing at best. A lot of pointless dialog and badly shot rabbits going on a rampage and people wrestling with obvious stuffed animals.
